-Special Shout out to ON THE BORDER for providing meals to our players before the game and FREE Queso Coupons for our teachers and families. What a huge blessing!

 -Moms! Thank you moms for serving! Thank you moms for praying! We had a wonderful turnout for the first ever Moms Prayer before the game. I love to see what God is doing this year as you all serve and pray together! Go God!

Moms in Prayer

 

Senior mom Amy Cook is inviting all football moms to join together for a special time of prayer before each game. We will plan to begin praying by the Metro Helmet at 6:30 PM. Join us on Friday at Holland Hall as we lift our hearts and prayers to the Lord together. 

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4:2

Special Shout out to the Mindy Simpson and On the Border! Ben's older sister (Bret & Teri Simpson's daughter) is the manager and has donated chicken burritos, chips and salsa for our players this week! Thank you On the Border for your Partnership with Metro Football!

At this time I do not have ticket ordering information. I have checked several times. I will update you as soon as I get further information on this. I do have Lincoln stadium policies that were sent for the middle school game., Please see attached. 

Booster pizza meal also provided after the game. 

 

S- Boys need to arrive at 8:15 AM . Booster meal donut holes provided.  

Pictures 8:30 before film and lift.  That will put our Saturday time from 8:15-11:30.  Get here at 8:15, get dressed and ready for pics by 8:30 with film and lifting to follow. 

- Last year we received a website address to order these online.

Tuesday 2-6:30

Saturday- No Lift & Film

 

Father & Son Breakfast- We have closed the survey and after looking at the results we have decided to not offer this event this year. We hope to bring it back again next season.

Special Shout out to OLIVETO ITALIAN BISTRO! 

Ruth Penland gave me the idea to see if we would get some local restaurant businesses to provide food for our home pre-game meals. I contacted three businesses this year and all three have been able to help in some way. This last week Oliveto was our game sponsor. They will be providing a meal for our prayers and staff on Friday, November 6. Go God! 

 

There are some outstanding shots this week on our Shutterfly site. Thank you to those that use their gifts and talents to bless us with wonderful pictures of our team in action!

My favorite part of the game this week was hearing the freshmen parents cheer for their boys that got to go in and played so well in the last quarter! I am so proud of all your boys and I am continuing to pray for them. Let's continue to pray together for the coaches, trainers, players and families. Praise the Lord that we are getting to be a part of Metro High School Football this year!
