Hello Everyone!I hope and pray that you had a great Thanksgiving week! I wanted to take a moment to communicate with you what this coming week will look like with the boys back at school.
This week there will be a team meeting, equipment check in, and the start of exit interviews for players moving on to other sports. Exit interviews will take several days even for those kids moving onto other sports. Players can leave after 7th hour to join other sports but will not be dismissed from football during 7th hour until after they have completed their exit interview, cleaned their locker, and checked in all equipment. We will likely not start off season workouts until Wednesday or Thursday.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 9th for our Football Banquet. I will send you more information as it becomes available. Each year the senior football moms lead out in planning and executing this event. Thank you to our lead senior mom, Julie Muller, and our senior families for your service as we look forward to celebrating together all that the Lord has done this past season.
It has been a great year! I am proud of our team and how well they have done! Thank you to all the families that served this year. Together we accomplished so much! A special shout out to Quinn Bierman, who served as Metro Football Booster Club President, and Tanda Francis, who served as Metro Football Booster Club Treasurer. Thank you for using your gifts and talents to bless our team this year! It has been a joy to serve with you this year. I am continuing to pray for our boys as they transition out of this season and into the next season that God has in store. God has great plans for them! He is so faithful.
