Patriot Game Day Boosters

 ​Your Metro Football Booster Club Team met this week to pray, plan, and prepare for the coming year! It was a wonderful time to reflect together on last year and all that the Lord accomplished. We press forward in eager anticipation of all that He has in store for our team this year as well! Here is your leadership team for this year:

You all are fantastic! I have already had emails asking how you can be a vital part of the Metro Football Booster Club by joining us in our Super Boosters Program! I love our Metro families! WE NEED YOU! God uses your generosity to help provide for Metro Football year after year!

Corrected: First Week of Practice & Parent Meeting

 Hey Football Families!

We apologize for the correction but coaches were unaware of the 1/2 day schedules for the first week of school and schedule pickup days/times. Thank you for your flexibility. This is the corrected schedule:

1- First week of Practice

Monday, 8/9            7:00-9:45 am

Tuesday, 8/10         7:00-9:45 am

Wednesday, 8/11    12:30-4:45 pm (1/3 Day of school, Please have players bring a light snack/lunch with them to school. This time includes weight room lift & heat index breaks)

Thursday, 8/12        11:45-4:00 pm  (1/3 Day of school, Please have players bring a light snack/lunch with them to school. This time includes weight room lift & heat index breaks)

Friday, 8/13             2:3--5:40 pm (Parent Meeting immediately following)

*Things to note: 

-This is an estimate of the time the practice time will end. You will need to allow time for boys to come off the field, go to the locker room and collect their things before they are able to leave. 

-We may also have heat index breaks that are mandatory. Coach McCoy will send me a message if practice is delayed because of these breaks. I will send out communication to notify parents. 

-Your player always needs a water container. We have jugs of water they can refill their container with during practice.

2- Parent Meeting- Friday, August 13  6:00-7:00 pm               MCA Auditorium

We need at least one parent for each player to attend. This is a time where the Coaches and Booster Club speak directly with parents about Metro Football. This is also the time that families will sign up to help serve the team throughout the year. Please plan on joining us!

Quick Update

 The boys had a great week at camp! Today we celebrated with bomb pops and a slip and slide.

We sent off our seniors today for their senior retreat with the coaches. Just look at these wonderful young men that will be our leaders for the coming year!

Senior moms have done a fantastic job planning this event for their boys! Way to go moms! A special thanks goes out to the Nauman family for their hospitality as our senior boys head to Grand Lake. God is at work! What a great season He has in store!
