This Week: October 31- Nov 6

 Happy Sunday! How about them Patriots! The team did so well this week. What a joy it is to see them in action and to be able to celebrate our seniors in such a special way. This group of boys are so special. God has such great plans in store! Congratulations to our seniors!

Can you believe that it is the last week of the regular season games? This week we will have completed 19 Varsity and JV Games! Thank you to everyone that has served Metro Football this year! We cannot do this without you and we truly appreciate how you serve together with us. A special shout out to Don Burns for coordinating the chain gang this year, Andrew Connor for serving faithfully on our video team, and to Cliff Warren for coordinating the freshmen dads helmet crew. Thank you for being a huge part of Metro Football! Together we can do great things!

We will have practice on Thanksgiving Day morning. Families are invited to the open practice. Freshmen parents host and provide donuts. Bring your own coffee or hot chocolate. This has always been such a special time of fellowship for our Metro Football families. Please plan on joining us!

Video Helpers needed Friday Night in Morris- We need two people to help serve this week to provide this service to the team. The team not only uses the film on Saturday but they also use the instant replays during the game as well. Can you help us and fill this need? Please reply back to me and I will get you in touch with Kevin & Randie Graves for this week. 

I am praying for our boys. God is still working all things together for his glory! He is so faithful.

God was really showing off in his beautiful sunset on Friday night in Henryetta! What a wonderful night for football. The team played so well! 

This week is a big week as we prepare to host Beggs. Please continue to pray for our players and coaches as they prepare. May the Lord do abundantly more than we could ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20). He is so faithful!

I have heard on the mom communication groups that items are coming up missing from the football lockers. Please remind your boys that Coach McCoy suggests that all players have a lock to protect their items. 

A special shout out this week to our Pre-Game Meal Mom Teams! Thank you to our Home Game Moms: Tanda Francis & Sabrina Bierman and our Away Game Moms: Erin Grimes & Charlene McCoy. Thank you to Melody Dixon (aka Our Donut Queen)! Melody coordinates donuts each week for our team to have for Saturday morning film and lift. Thank you for serving the team so well! It truly takes a village as we work together each week. Thank you for being a huge part of Metro Football!
